In April 2026, one of the highest increases among the main non-oil export countries of Azerbaijan was recorded in the direction of Georgia.
Modern.az reports that this information is reflected in the May issue of the “Export Review” of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) for 2026.
According to the information, non-oil exports to Russia amounted to 94.9 million US dollars in April. This indicator increased by 6.4 million dollars or 7.2% compared to 88.5 million dollars recorded in the same period last year.
Exports to Turkey amounted to 79.3 million dollars. This is 26 million dollars or 48.8% more compared to 53.3 million dollars in April 2025.
The volume of exports to Georgia reached 55.1 million dollars. In the same period last year, this indicator was 25.1 million dollars. Thus, exports to Georgia increased by 30 million dollars or 119.5%, more than doubling.
Non-oil exports to Switzerland amounted to 36.1 million dollars. This indicator means an increase of 5.3 million dollars or 17.2% compared to 30.8 million dollars in the corresponding period last year.
Exports to Ukraine amounted to 13.5 million dollars. Exports to this country decreased by 0.7 million dollars or 4.9% compared to 14.2 million dollars in the same period last year.
