The issuance of new denomination banknotes in Azerbaijan is not predicted until 2030.

Taleh Kazimov, Chairman of the Board of the Central Bank, made this statement at a press conference held at the Central Bank, answering a question from Modern.az.

He noted that, according to current forecasts, the issuance of new banknotes, especially the 500 manat banknote, is not planned.
