US company Aspect Georgia LLC will invest 70 million dollars in oil and gas exploration in Georgia.
Modern.az reports that the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia has released information about this.
The company will join the project implemented in the XIG license area in Eastern Georgia. Georgia Oil and Gas Limited, Oil and Gas Corporation and GOG SLADS Limited are already operating in that area.
The agreement was signed based on the results of an international tender held by the Georgian State Oil and Gas Agency in December 2021. According to the agreement, Aspect Georgia LLC will get a share in the project and will participate in production works as well as exploration.
It should be noted that the company is registered in the US state of Colorado and is part of the Aspect Holding LLC group.
